Learn 5 Quick Ways To Use Content To Create and Boost Your Traffic And Profits Today

By Sami Fab

OK, what is 'content'? Simply put, it is informative material that you include in your website or elsewhere to benefit your readers.

What's the point of this effort? Providing information, relevant to the subject of your website, is the most powerful way of attracting visitors to you who already respect you as an expert on the subject.

In marketing speak they are already 'presold'. If you then recommend them something a relatively large proportion will buy in compared to the average visitor to your site.

BUT you must never betray this trust and must always try to recommend only top quality products and services with the readers' interest at heart. Honor this and you will have customers and followers for life.

Lets take a look at five ways content builds you traffic, subscribers, and customers in addition to increasing your search engine rankings.

1. Educate, don't sell.

Regularly add keyword rich articles and content to your website. Adding a lot of content is good but adding new content regularly much better. Search engines and visitors alike, value your site more if it is kept fresh.

Doing this alone will raise your search engine ranking and daily visitor count.

For example, if your business involves offering products and services related to food, posting articles and content relating to recipes, food preparation, nutrition, quality suppliers etc will attract unlimited prospective customers on a regular basis! Why?

Answer: I want you to always remember this point, which will help you whenever you deal with the search engines:

The search engines are in the business of providing accurate and relevant information to their search clients. They do this because the more accurate and relevant the information the more people will visit (and also repeatedly come back to) the search engine and therefore the more money the search engine will make from advertising and other services.

This is why the search engines 'love' great, focused, relevant, keyword rich content. Once they find your site and index it (list it), if your content is great, then they will reward you by sending lots of visitors your way for as long as the content remains relevant to their customers.

So, give the search engines what they want and you'll get plenty of what "you" want.

2. Excusive reports

If your run a newsletter, a powerful technique for multiplying your subscriber base quite easily is to offer content as "exclusive reports" or manuals. But present the offer as a bonus for signing up for your publication. Everyone loves freebies, so give them what they want and get what you want - a massive increase in your results.

Just remember, people just like search engines, want 'relevant' information. Keep the subject of your special reports focused and your newsletters well focused too. But if necessary, keep different lists for the different interests/subjects.

3. Training courses.

Think about it. What is a training course? Isn't it a collection of informative chapters or sections organized in useful sequence! The beauty of organizing content into a series of lessons, delivered by email is:

a) It entices visitors to your website to give you their email addresses and then you can keep in touch, inform and market to them indefinitely.

b) It that keeps the reader glued to your serialized training course.

Now remember, statistics show that on average, it takes 7 contacts to turn a prospect into a customer. That's why it is so hard to sell to a new visitor to your website. But this technique overcomes that problem very neatly.

Note: The technique is really simple and works extremely well but the key to success is 'quality control'. This means you must ensure valuable content is provided in each and every lesson.

An extra bonus with this technique is that because you have editorial control over the content, you can links to related websites and also have your affiliate links spread around each lesson or course.

As you might imagine by now, valuable lessons will go on being demanded and used for an awful long time. This means you get an automated income stream from the affiliate links for as long as you keep the training material relevant.

Tip: Use an 'auto responder' to deliver these courses automatically.

4. Newsletter content.

A key ingredient of success online is building a trusting and honorable relationship with the people on your mailing list or newsletter subscribers. In other words you must 'cultivate' your list.

With top quality content in the form of articles, delivered through a sequence of emails, you can easily establish yourself as an exert in your filed of business. You gain significant credibility and trust.

As a result, once again your subscribers are 'presold' and will take up your products, services and recommendations.

Remember this only works if you never, ever, take advantage of the relationship you develop with your list. Avoid the temptation to offer poor quality products or services for a quick profit.

There is one thing you can totally depend on in Internet marketing: A mailing list with a well developed relationship to you, goes n producing income year after year.

5. Article submission.

A highly productive way to generate fr'ee traffic is by submitting ready-made articles to websites, newsletters, article directories, online journals etc.

At the end of each article you can attach 3-6 lines of text known as your 'bio' or 'resource box' or 'About the author'. In this you write a little abut yourself and include a link to your website or subscription email address ... See mine below.

At the time of submitting your articles for publication specify that each article is to be published "as is" with your resource box attached.

Even one or two articles can go miles towards generating tons of traffic and visitors for you without spending a cent. You can easily send your article to newsletters that have subscriber bases of 100,000 individuals or more and many will click your website link to find out more about what you are offering.

So you now have 5 powerful ways to develop your business but just one of these can explode your site popularity and profits with top quality content.

Let me leave you with a valuable thought on this subject: We've all heard "... give and you shall receive...". And it is so true when it comes to providing useful information to others on the Internet.

Think of it this way: you will be proving your worth to your target market, right? Now, think about this question as a potential customer would:

Which is more powerful, lots of clever adverts from a company you know nothing about or just some plain-speaking but valuable information from someone or a company that proves useful to you and establishes its credibility? There is simply no contest.

Here's one final hidden gem for you: how long does an advert stay current?

Answer: Just one issue of whatever publication of course.

How long does a valuable article last?

Answer: At least many months but most probably years! Yes, years.

Most publications and web sites maintain a readily accessible archive of their published material usually available to all visitors and search engine spiders for years to come! This will ensure a steady flow of visitors via search engines as an added bonus.

But there's more: with links from (your resource box in) each article back to your site, the search engines will reward you with higher rankings.

And remember that when it comes to distributing content you have an army of allies out there numbering into at least thousands for the most obscure of subjects - they eagerly want to distribute your information because they too will gain similar benefits to you. A win-win situation for all.

Potential Success In Network Marketing Is Unlimited If You Have the Courage

By Tim Connor

The opportunity for success, happiness, wealth and freedom in the foreseeable future in Network Marketing is staggering. Everyone can realize his dreams, but not everyone will. Network Marketing is not a Get-Rich-Quick scheme. Of the thousands of people who have achieved greatness in this exciting career opportunity, each has done it his or her own way. Yes, there are guidelines, formulas, techniques and any number of policies or practices. But in the end, if you are to succeed, you must do it your own way. I do not mean to imply that you should reinvent the wheel and break new ground, but that you reinvent yourself every day.

The personal price of success must be paid by each of us, regardless of how you choose to define success. In this book we will define it as: getting what you want, being happy with what you get and creating a lifestyle that is consistent with your goals, philosophy and desires. Not everyone wants to be wealthy. Not everyone wants to travel the world. Life is not about wanting what other people have or think you should want. It is about your personal quest to discover your potential and to use it to create a life that gives you peace, harmony, balance and joy.

Life is about enjoying the journey - not just about reaching the mountaintop. It is about people and relationships - not just STUFF - and it is about personal freedom to make choices that reflect your highest good and the will of God.

The journey through life is not just about climbing higher - but reaching higher. The principles for success, wealth and happiness, whether in your Network Marketing career or in your family life, are the same. Some of us will pay this personal price, while others will deal only in blame, resentment, guilt, anger, remorse, jealousy and whining. This price is paid one day at a time. And it must be paid again and again and again if you truly want to achieve the freedom and success you desire and deserve.

This purpose of this book is to share with you the fifty-two principles, concepts and techniques that will skyrocket your career in Network Marketing. It is not designed to replace any training, support or tools that your organization provides you. It is designed to help you get more benefits from that training and support.

Each of us can know the price of success and pay the price of success, but not all of us are willing to do so. Success in any life activity requires consistent effort, desire, time, focus, patience, action, staying power and numerous other traits and characteristics.

You can reach the stars. You only need to begin - persist and enjoy the ride.

Do Your Readers Wish You Would Stop Writing Articles?

By Jadyn Benjamin

For a lot of us, writing articles can be a chore. Even if you don't gnaw on your nails in the fear of breaking grammatical rules, the thought of churning out even one 700+ word article per week is probably daunting. Imagine writing one per day!

So we search for tools and aids to help us break the writer's block. We hope that we can produce a brilliant discussion that grips the reader with its profundity. We labour over the topic of the article and sweat bullets over every paragraph.

But is there a more effective and easier way?

Concentrate On Effectiveness, Not Wordiness

Does your marketplace require all articles to be thorough discussions of the subject matter? Think about it.

My reading habits (and there are a lot of people who read like me) may prove differently. The sheer volume of information that we have to process now forces us to take a different approach to our reading.

More and more we scan the material, seeking the nuggets from the body of text that catch our attention and that seem worthy of careful consideration.

Get To The Point Already!

That would explain why concise bullet points are very important parts of communications - they get the message across quickly.

That's why writing quick tips is an increasingly powerful strategy. Extracting the substance and offering a tip instead of a lengthy article demonstrates your grasp of the topic - it takes good understanding to boil ideas down to their essence and communicate them quickly.

More and more readers will appreciate this as it saves us valuable time and allows us to return to our business of implementing the solutions.

Beat The Article-Writing Demon Into Submission!

While those who are haunted by visions of articles refusing to be written may be determined to conquer the demons and become skilled at producing lengthy articles on demand, you can relax in the knowledge that there's another way.

Take one thought at a time, one practical 'how to' snippet and explain it in a brief tip. Say what has to be said and nothing more.

Create a short tip article made of primarily bulleted points. Circumvent your blank page blues.

You can be sure your readers and your previously fearful heart will thank you for it.

TipZine.com - an article directory where you are rewarded - not penalized, for writing tips and short tip articles. Visit http://www.tipzine.com/rewards.php to learn how to claim your reward.

How to Create a Torrent of Low Cost/ No Cost Leads through the Front Door of Your Business!

By Royston Guest

Wouldnt it be just fantastic if in the first quarter of this year you acquired a new sales force for your business? Now Im not just talking about 1 or 2 new people, Im talking about hundreds or even thousands of new sales people all out there in the market place spreading the word and selling you and your business. Mobilising an entire army of raving fans all bought into you and your business and the difference you make in the market place.

What impact would this new sales force have on the growth of your business? Could this be the break through your looking for in to order hit double or even triple digit growth this year?

A pipe dream or a reality?

Well actually it could be a reality Ive seen it done many times with our Clients; let me tell you how?

Firstly it requires you to take a leap of faith for a moment and think differently about your business. Youve spent a great deal of time, effort and money in attracting and building the loyalty from your existing customers and clients True?

Those customers and clients have bought you theyve bought your business brand and as long as youre delivering on the promise and engaging in the appropriate retention strategies then theyll remain loyal to you forever! (Well talk about retention strategies in a future issue of the Business Accelerator Ezine coming soon).

These loyal clients are the ideal profile of client for your business. They;

STAY! SAY! And PAY!

- Stay for as long as possible

- Say great things about you

- Pay on timeevery time!

Now its the SAY great things part that I want to talk with you about today. Because in saying great things about you you can create a torrent of referrals through the front door of your business!

By just being pro active v re active, by thinking about this strategy from a different prospective you can turn your clients into your Silent Sales Force!

Think about it for a moment; there already bought into you and your business, there passionate about what you do and how you do it, there loyal, talk about you and your business with enthusiasm, understand your products & services probably better than some of your own people because they are actually using them! WOW arent these the traits youd look for in recruiting a new sales person. And perhaps the sting in the tail;

As they are your ideal profile of client who do they shake and move with both professionally and personally? Yes other like minded individuals similar to them, and most importantly for you similar to the profile of clients you want to attract to your business and FAST!

Now Im not just talking about referral capture here on an adhoc basis Im talking about a Systematised Referral Process where you go back to the well on a regular basis and have a structured process.

Lets look at the numbers for a moment by taking a generic model; our ABC Limited or as I prefer to say UnLimited the only limiting factor being our mindset about what we can and cant achieve in our businesses.

Imagine in our ABC business we have 500 Customers. Taking the 80/20 rule the top 20% are the ideal profile of client. So we focus on the top 100 Clients as our Silent Sales force.

On average we pick up just one referral from each of those clients (I say on average as I have a number of thoughts on the number of referrals we should ask for; a discussion for another day) that would now give us 100 prospects.

Now I dont know what your conversion rates are in your business at the moment. What I do know however, and Im sure youd agree is that referral business converts at a higher rate than any other form of lead generation activity.

So in this example Im going to work on a conversion of 1:10 (Id probably expect it to be more like 1:5) this would equate to 10 new clients from your new sales force.

Now if we systematised the process and went back to the well on a quarterly basis this would generate 400 new prospects; at our conversion rate of only 1: 10 = 40 new clients per year!!!! How much would this be worth to your business?

Im sure you could run your real numbers in terms of number of customers and conversion rates through the formula Ive used above, and calculate precisely what impact this strategy would have on the growth of your business?

So there you have it! How to create a torrent of Low Cost/ No Cost Leads through the front door of your business and turn your key clients and customers into your Silent Sales Force!

Marketing vs Selling - Why Theres A Difference

By Candye Hinton

Marketing is something that we do to let people know what products we have to offer.

Selling is something that we do to show people that the products we have to offer are of value to them.

In the high tech world of today, much of what we consider marketing is very inconspicuous. Messages are moving at the speed of light, and we are hardly even aware of what we saw or heard that ever made us think eating fast food meant getting good food fast!

Marketing is all around us - from the letters that appear in our mind when our stomach hurts. Yes, we know what spells relief to the jingle in our head when we think of the first and second name we give the meat in our sandwich. We have all done it, ran into the store to buy something, and called it out by the brand...not by the actual product name.

When was the last time you were thinking of something, as simple as coffee, and Starbucks appeared in your mind? This, my friend, is what they call "savvy marketing" and it's as old as the day is long. The reason that marketing has been around for so long, is that for some odd reason, the more we keep something in the forefront of our mind, the more we inquire, the more we "Google" it, and the more we buy it - it is why we think that we're wearing Levis instead of jeans.

Marketing is what people do to get us interested in the brand of their product. Marketing is what causes us to dream and imagine and wish. When someone markets a product or service to us, they are helping us to get more familiar with it. They are asking us to be really comfortable with hearing the brand, saying the brand, asking about the brand and eventually, leading us to a place where we find a NEED for just that brand.

Marketing is the first step to a long-term relationship with any product, and the more product a person has to sell - the longer we may find ourselves involved in the relationship. Marketing is the most thought out component of any large selling campaign, because without this one step - the marketing - no-one knows that we're even there.

The idea that once they know us and we know them (which seems like forever) is when we are able to like what we hear and trust what they have.

Selling usually comes in right about here...the point of purchase. This is where we are helped to find the best solution for us. Selling is fine tuning the brand / product / service to fit our needs exclusively, and this is where some people start to shy away. Selling isnt always up close, but it IS personal. Selling, if done correctly, can create a lifetime of loyal product / service users, and should always be done with the utmost respect, trust and honor. Selling is what helps a consumer to decide if this product that has been marketed to them is really what they need AND if the pain they have is strong enough to get rid of, or if the pleasure is great enough to invest.

Selling is the next step to that wonderful place called referrals, and that cant happen if we havent been able to deliver what we marketed our product to do. Our job when we market our product or service is to create for our client a reason to want to begin a relationship with us. They need to know. just by the sound of our brand, that we are worth pursuing. Not only do they need to be comfortable with what we are sharing, they also need to know that over and over again until they believe it for themselves.

So, as we look at the way we are creating relationships with our future clients, look at the process in having them trust us. If we are skipping step one in relationship building (the marketing) then step two (selling), will be much more difficult - and step three (referrals & word of mouth) is then almost impossible.

We may have the greatest product out on the market today, and it may very well be the one thing that solves all of the world's problems, BUT, if we havent figured out how to speak to people in a caring and comfortable way, they will never get the chance to know us, and people who dont know us will not buy from us!

Marketing has to be the FIRST thing we do to make our product and relationship with our clients successful. My program Get Clients Now will help you to understand this process by consistently doing something every single day to ensure results. How To Earn Advertising Revenue With Your Website

By Tino Buntic

If you are the owner of a website, especially one with a large audience, there are numerous ways in which you can earn an income from advertising. The best part is is that its so easy. Most people think that you need to actually sign up companies or accounts on an individual basis. This is not so. All you need to do is register through third party ad servers or brokers to begin serving ads on your website.

Here are my three favorite advertisement serving companies that you can choose from to make additional income from your website:

1. Fastclick: Fast click serves banner ads in a variety of different sizes. You choose the sizes you want and then just paste the code onto your website to begin showing the ads. Fastclick works on a cost per 1000 impressions (CPM) basis. That is, you get paid based on every time the ads are shown 1000 times on your website. You get paid whether or not anybody actually clicks on them! You get 65% of the revenue and Fastclick keeps 35%. The banner ads shown are very appealing with some well known companies that use it to advertise, including MSN, Ask Jeeves, Vonage, and Western Union. To the average layman visiting your site, it would look as though some great companies have personally chosen to advertise on your site bringing it some added credibility. You can also block any inappropriate banner ads from showing on your site. Register at www.fastclick.com.

2. Commission Junction: An affiliate marketing provider. With Commission Junction, you choose which affiliates ads to show on your site and then post their banners. This doesnt pay based on the number of impressions or the number of clicks, but rather someone would have to click on the banner, be taken to the affiliate website, and then either sign up or buy something from that website before you would be paid a commission. Obviously, the actual number of completed transactions are low but the commission on the completed sales are higher than other advertising methods. Commissions run anywhere from $1 to over $100 per completed sale or sales lead. Various affiliates that you can choose from include Ebay, Yahoo, IceJerseys.com, and Starbucks. Sign up at www.cj.com.

3. Google Adsense: This PPC (pay-per-click) advertising is probably the most popular and widely used of all internet advertising web publishers, probably because it is the most nondescript and doesnt involve any animated banners that draw attention away from your website. You serve the Google text ads on your site and you get paid any time someone clicks on one of the ads. Mainly, you get anywhere between 1 cent and 50 cents per click. This doesnt sound like much but if you have a website with heavy traffic it could be thousands of dollars a month. Register at www.google.com/adsense.

You can use any one or a combination of all three methods to earn advertising revenue from your website.

Telemarketing: Accessible Way Of Reaching Your Customers

By Robert Thatcher

It may be tiresome to deal with people from far-off places. But telemarketing resolves this altogether. Telemarketing simply refers to a process that involves all marketing related functions using telephones. Telemarketing will connect you and your customers all the time of the day.

This is the most accessible way for you to have your business easier to manage. From the use of telemarketing, you can communicate with your clients anywhere you go.

It is the use of telephone to communicate with your clients the goods and services that your company is offering. You can directly connect with your prospective customers and receive their orders and inquiries from advertising and promotions direct to your phones.

Since you will be transacting business with your clients using phones, telephone therefore is the most important tool needed in telemarketing. It is where you are going to solicit potential customers and sell your products.

How are you going to determine whether you get a potential customer?

It is important for you to know your customer's past records when dealing with them through phone so that the chances that you will see them in person in order to assess their status as customers will lessen.

Processes such as the detection of their history of past purchase, information requests, credit limit entry and competition forms are necessary basis for you to know their standing in your business whether they will be a good and credible clients or not.

It has been very common also for telemarketers that they often solicit funds from the different institutions particularly the business organizations and alumni associations. These organizations offer them special contributions that help in improving the service to their clients.

However, some of the conservatives arrive at a certain analysis that the business of telemarketing is an unprincipled and unethical practice of business. Since it is just an interaction from telephone to telephone, the system sometimes abuses the privacy of an individual.

Due to the said fact, they find it necessary to make a legislative policy in order to pacify the matter. A regulation is set up as to protect and uphold the rights of customers. There arises the policy known as the Telephone Consumer Protection Act formulated in the year 1991. This pertains to a restriction to the Telemarketing business in the United States. As an alternative, the companies just use a business code of ethics for them to continue with the business.

After that, the most recent move done took place in the year 2004. Then, another restriction policy paved way for implementation by the telemarketing companies. The new rule stated the major and the minor rights of the clients engaging in telemarketing. This secures the fact that in spite of the intention of the company to gain more clients, if the client does not tolerate them, the telemarketing companies can do nothing about it.

The new policy ensures the full protection and the privacy of the customers. If found any violation with the policy, there is always a corresponding penalty to the telemarketing company.

There is nothing wrong to aim for high profits when you have a business but make sure also that you are not affecting the lives of other people already.

Robert Thatcher is a freelance publisher based in Cupertino, California. He publishes articles and reports in various ezines and provides telemarketing resources on http://www.abouttelemarketing.info.

Fast Track Your Journey to Online Success

By Stone Evans

No one has ever logged onto the Internet for the first time and started pocketing dollars in a really short period of time. As with all things in life, there is a learning curve.

SOME PERSONAL HISTORY

Just a few short years ago, I was a working stiff just like you.

One day, I bought and read a book called "Multiple Streams of Income" by bestselling author, Robert Allen. Immediately, I began my journey.

Every night after work and after my wife and children went to sleep, I would get online and explore different ways of using the Internet to make money.

In the 2 years that followed, I spent over $10,000.00 racking up credit card debt buying eBooks, membership sites, special reports, opt-in leads, and joining every "guru" recommended business opportunity that flew into my email inbox...

I stayed up learning, working and drinking coffee until 5:00 in the morning month after month filled with the hope of making money online.

In my 3rd year of working part-time to build an home based income, I finally broke through and earned over $100,000.00 in just 12 months from the Internet.

BECOME THE MASTER OF YOUR LEARNING CURVE

Research the lives of all of the guru's. The one thing that you will learn is that my own experience is not unique. Most of the high earners on the Internet experienced a learning curve very similar to my own.

Chances are that your curve will also be similar to mine, but it is my hope that you can get to the top faster than even I did. Three years was a long time to struggle, but every ounce of struggle was worth the reward I have finally received.

In order to shorten your own learning curve, you must do a few things differently than the rest of us did. You must become the master of your learning curve.

THE SHORTEST DISTANCE BETWEEN TWO POINTS IS A STRAIGHT LINE

There is only one way to shorten the curve on the Internet, "you must plan to succeed."

Here is the deal. Most people put up a freebie website and select a few affiliate programs to add to their website. Right out of the gate, most people are running for the finish line without any real plan in mind.

After a few short weeks, people begin to see the writing on the wall that says, "This is going to be a long hard road."

People check their hit counters daily for six weeks before they realize that getting traffic to their free site is going to be tough.

At this point, they begin developing their first batch of advertising. Then they spend countless months finding places to show their advertisements for free. Some make an even more drastic mistake by blowing thousands of hard earned dollars on their new and untested ads.

These are the people who will learn the facts of life the hard way.

In time, they will learn how to make their advertising work for them. But most will earn very little money from their affiliate programs.

At this point in the learning curve, most people throw up their hands and walk away from their dreams in utter disgust. Instead of a walking away point, this should have convinced the struggling online entrepreneur that they were simply traveling the wrong road.

YOU MUST PLAN TO SUCCEED

From day one, you must begin to learn about the nuances of web promotion. Read everything you can get your hands on. Don't just read the hype, back it up with the opinions of others who have reviewed the same programs before you came along. Learn from their mistakes and successes.

As you begin to learn, you must also look to make a decision. Do you want to step into a pre-built program that is designed to help you to succeed, OR do you want to create a completely new program of which you are the sole owner?

If you decide to step into a pre-designed and complete turn-key online money making venture, then you must select the right venture to step into. If this is your decision, then please examine my program along with the others. You can review my Plug In Profit Site program at: http://www.PlugInProfitSite.com.

If you decide to go the journey on your own, then do all of the necessary research, planning and preparation that is needed for your success.

PREPARE TO SUCCEED

Decide upon what you think you would want to do, and then figure out how your planned site will generate a real income.

Internet old-timers know about hundreds of corporation domains that existed with IPO millions, but did not have an actual money plan that could sustain their business model. Most of these companies were among the hundreds of companies that bellied up in the 2000 dot bomb experience.

Don't blindly believe in your plan. Research others on the web who have undertaken similar business models and see if they have survived. Study your competitors in depth to learn what is working for them and what did not work for them. To better understand what has or has not worked for competitor websites, check out their time lapsed progressions using the Wayback Machine: http://web.archive.org/

Once you have determined your money plan, then you should undertake the development of a business plan and a marketing plan. Utilize professional assistance if you need to do so. While creating your plans, make a determination as to which domain name you think would be best, then use the NameBoy tool to figure out if that domain name is open: http://www.nameboy.com/

Once you have developed your business plan and marketing plan and have run them through several revisions, then it will be time to buy your domain name and to begin work with a site designer and developer. You may need to have your domain sitting on a webhost for your site developer, but this is not always necessary. While they are doing their work, enlist a copywriter to help you with your site sales copy.

When your site designer and developer have your site working, you should then undertake significant testing to make sure everything works as planned. It is much harder to fix problems on a operational site than it is to fix problems on a site that is yet to be launched.

When testing is done, then you should fill in your sales copy and then shoot for launch. Of course, you already have a marketing plan in place, so your preparation here will be simply a matter of putting the pieces of the puzzle into place.

You are finally ready to open for business. Don't be afraid to spend the money to bring your dream alive. Time can replace money in the goal of starting a profitable online business, but money invested can shave years off of your company's growth.

How To Fail... Faster Then a Speeding Bullet!

By Troy Pentico

Hello, I am getting married.  Want to pay me $798 dollars to
come?  Yes, this is the theme in the latest marketing campaign
from the infamous Corey Rudl.  Now before I give you the wrong
idea here it really doesn't cost $798 dollars to attend.  In
reality it will cost you only $97 dollars and Corey has
promised to give everyone that attends a $97 dollar credit
towards any of his products.  So really Corey is only going to
make $97 dollars per person that attends his wedding.  Pretty
Good Deal, huh?

The $798 dollars is for the one day finally.  What someone
could actually learn in a seminar environment in one day that
is worth $798 dollars is beyond me.  But, I am sure even some
of you have bought into it.  If you are thinking about it but,
have not committed to it, I would consider spending the money
on some one-on-one time with a consultant if you feel you must
pay someone to learn about your business.

This really is not what this article is about though.  It
surely made me think about writing this but, would make for a
pretty bland article unless I was promoting Corey's Wedding
wouldn't it? No, you see Corey is in the Internet Marketing
Information business which in my opinion is getting way out of
hand lately.  And that is the basis of this article.

So I give you "How To Fail... Faster Then a Speeding Bullet!"

As all of you know one of my favorite past times and really the
whole "Niche" of my online business is testing new marketing
tools, and resources and then sharing those reviews with my
subscribers and customers.

Through all of the years of doing this I have gained some
serious in site on what makes the online entrepreneur tick.
Most of the "initial successes" these marketer have, as well
as most of the failures are attributed to many different
things.

This list of reasons people fail is enormous but here are the
five most common and how to avoid them:

#5 Bad Guidance

Through out life people are used to being taught how to do
things.  Their parents teach them how to tie their shoes, and
talk.  In school they learn how to read, write, and perform
arithmetic.  In college or trade school they learn how to
perform the tasks they are going to use at their job for the
rest of their lives.

Then one day they decide to start a business on the Internet.
Most of the time that is exactly what happens.  They decide to
start "A BUSINESS".  Not just any business mind you.  But,
"A BUSINESS".  These would be entrepreneurs want to make money
that all the SPAM mail promises can be had on the Internet.
But, there are now a few road blocks.  They don't have a
product sell.  They don't have a web site to promote.
They don't have any friends that are successful making money
on the Internet to help them.  So in pure haste they go to the
nearest search engine and type in "How to Make Money" or
something a long them lines.

A lot of them won't be to picky when it comes to choosing.
They jump onboard every free to join program out there.  Some
are "smarter".  They know that if every body is selling this
or that product it must be the one people want and therefore
they need to sell it to.  Luckily for them they will inevitably
end up on the mailing list of a very successful online marketer
who will provide them with all the guidance they need.

Generally this will consist of them telling their prospect that
to succeed they need to buy and follow the strategies in a
particular book they wrote.  Once they spend their money and
read the hype in the book they find out to make money with these
strategies they will need to utilize a particular software
program, or service that luckily for them is provided by the
same person that sold them the book!  And then thankfully that
same marketer is throwing a seminar that you can pay an arm and
a leg to attend so that you can actually figure out these
strategies that so far you haven't had any luck with.  All the
while nobody is working on your business because you are to
busy reading, learning new software programs, and attending
seminars to build your own business.

Avoidance Strategy:

When looking for guidance find a professional with a telephone
that they answer when you call.  If at all possible find
someone near your location that you can work with face to
face.  Demand a free consultation to see if this person truly
knows what they are talking about.  Demand a money back
guarantee.  If this Guru is flashing sales copy that you can
make Millions selling this or that surely they can guarantee
that you will be profitable with your business following their
strategies in X amount of time.

Do not buy any products at all dealing with Internet Marketing
until you know what your business is going to be.  Don't spend
hundreds of dollars trying to figure this out.  You will find
your own Niche without the help of a $137 dollar digital book.

#4 Playing the FREE Game

Why should I pay to advertise on Google when I can join that
FREE Safelist and mail my ads to millions?  Why should I for
advertising on ClickBank when I can join CBClicks for FREE?
Why should I pay for ads on Google when I can use this free
click exchange program to generate traffic?

There are an endless amount of free programs on the Internet
that promise to make you successful.  This game started years
ago with a service called a Free For All Links Page.  Here is
how they all work and why you can get them for FREE.  When you
signup for a FREE service you will need to provide some
information to the provider.  This can range from just your
Name and Email to a more extensive survey that includes
questions about your monthly income level, your physical
mailing address, your phone number, etc.  A small price to pay
for using these services for FREE right?

WRONG!

If you didn't catch on yet these services can guarantee you
what ever they want.  But, the truth is they rarely work
because they were not designed to!  These services are for the
provider to obtain your contact information and your
permission to contact you with advertising anytime they want.
Many times your contact information is sold via a leads service.
In the end you find out that you wasted your time joining the
program and all you gained out of the FREE deal was in inbox
full of junk!

Avoidance Strategy:

Do not utilize FREE Traffic or Lead Generation Strategies with
very few exceptions (like submitting your URL to Google for
FREE for example).  Find a service that is pay to play by a
known provider of successful strategies.  Like Google Adwords
for example.  Use the service that you can afford to and when
you can afford to utilize another move into it.  Don't make
any exceptions to this no matter what anybody tells you!

#3 No Focus

This one is closely related to all of the other causes for
failure.  The normal scenario goes something like this.  You
are selling a book you wrote about cross stitching.  You have
made a few sales and things are going nicely for you as your
business is starting to grow.  Someone that you respect sends
you an email.  It says, "Hey my Google PR just shot through
the roof because I am using X product".  You quickly move
into action and purchase the product.  You follow the
directions and spend hours, sometimes days applying the
strategy.

When you are finished you decide to stop by one of your
favorite marketing forums and find everyone talking about this
out standing new book by X marketer where he reveals all his
top secret marketing strategies.  You move into action and
purchase the book.  You spend days reading it and then weeks
applying the strategies.

This is a never ending chain for some people.  They never spend
one day completely devoted to working on their business
because, they are to busy being distracted by the next big
thing.

Well I got news for your folks.  There is always going to be a
next big thing.  Some things do not change and will provide you
with much more success.

Avoidance Strategy:

FOCUS your time on YOUR Business.  The Top of you To-do list
should always be Provide Outstanding Customer Service, Market
Your Product Continuously, Build Strong Relationships with your
customers, Improve the Content of Your Web site, etc.

Don't start another business if the current one is not
successful!  Why put yourself through the mental challenges of
failing at two businesses?  When you have made one business
successful you will have the know how and the resources to
successfully expand it to include another.

If you do this you will laugh as you watch your competitors
chase their Internet Marketing Dreams in Circles.

#2 No Creativity

You decide for your business that you are going to market X
product as part of their affiliate program.  This one has to be
the easiest business to start in the world!  They provide a web
site template, pre-written ads, banners, articles, and graphics!
All I have to do is use these items and I will make Millions!

WRONG!

Having no creativity is a killer.  Especially, in the affiliate
sales world.  Think about it if everyone of the affiliates in X
program are using the exact same sales materials for every aspect
of their marketing program who do you think a prospect is going
to buy from?

If you answered "I have no idea", you are correct.  And a lot of
the times the prospective customer has no idea either.  If you
don't successfully close the deal on the first visit from this
customer you are probably not going to.  Your prospect wakes up
the next morning and decides to buy the product.  They forgot to
book mark your site so they type the name of the product into a
search engine and come to a page that looks exactly like yours
and they buy.

The scenarios for not having creativity are endless.  They go
from something simple like using canned sales materials from an
affiliate program to creating a software product that is exactly
the same as 12 others on the market.

If you do not put some creativity into your business.  You will
fail.

Avoidance Strategy:

Only join and market an affiliate program if you have purchased
the product and used it yourself?  Why?  Because, if you don't
you will have no choice but, to used the canned sales materials.
You cannot extend any creativity into it and write your own sales
copy, give a testimonial to your prospects or anything of that
sort because, you will have no idea on what you are talking about.

Always, write your own sales copy, advertisements, web pages, etc.
Even if you only change a few graphics, and include a few of your
own paragraphs into a canned version you are way above the heap.
When modifying web pages include testimonials (if you don't have
any when you sell some ask the customer for one).  Always include
your contact information including a phone number that you answer.
Always change the headline.  If the headline is just to good to
change then change the sub headline.  Do what ever you can to make
your sales materials unique.

When creating your own product research the hell out of it.  Don't
create something that can be had elsewhere.  And definitely don't
create something that people can pick up at the local Wal-Mart.
If you can't come up with your won idea hold a survey with your
ezine or mailing list subscribers asking them what they wish they
had to improve any aspect of their life or business.

Apply creativity throughout your business from product creation,
to sales, to good customer service at all time.

#1 No Determination

What am I doing wrong?  I have created a unique product.  I have
an awesome sales page.  I am getting tons of hits from my Overture
PPC Campaign.  But, nobody is buying!  The heck with this.

I have a ton of ads inserted for my Google Campaign but nobody is
clicking on them.  The heck with this.

I just can't get people to buy my product.  I guess I will just
give it away.

I see this all of the time.  People try everything that they
can to make their business work but, nothing seems too.  They
give up and never really tried.  Folks, the Internet is not a get
rich quick environment no matter what you may think.  Yes, it is
easier to target your customer base and actually make contact
with them.  But, it is no different then selling off line.  If
you don't provide a compelling reason to buy then no one will.
And just because you think it is compelling and all your
marketing friends said the same thing does not mean it is going
to work.

The failure rate of online business due to No Determination is
astronomical.  People actually believe that whatever they do is
going to work and when it doesn't they give up without a fight.

Avoidance Strategy:

Expect failure and LEARN from it.  Write the underlying cause
for each failure down and refer to it when ever you can so you
don't make the same mistake twice.  Research and analyze your
marketing methods.  Write at least two versions of a sales page
for a particular product and run a split-test on it.  Always ask
your current customers why they bought a particular product.
Make them be specific.  Apply copy cat strategies with your
products.  If it worked once it might work again.  Just don't
go word for word.  Ask for help from an Internet Marketer that
you respect by offering them a cut on sales.  If you can't make
it sell maybe they can provide you with a way it can.  Above
all DON'T GIVE UP, DON'T GIVE UP, and DON'T GIVE UP.

If you are the average everyday Internet Marketer you probably
found at least one failure strategy that you are following right
now.  This does not mean your business will fail.  If just means
you got a head start in start in that direction.

Keep in mind that I could not possibly list all the scenarios,
or avoidance strategies for each of these as it would have
created a volume of information and this article is already
long as it is.

You must learn to identify failure strategies and cut them off
before they have an adverse effect on your business.  I have
provided you with a good start it is up to you from here on out.

So I challenge you from here on out to remain determined, be
creative, stay focused, avoid free things with big promises,
and seek out and find good guidance if you need it.

Find The Best Affiliate Programs To Promote And market - Easy Steps

By Micheal Phelps

We now need a way to find the best affiliate products to market.

There are thousands of affiliate programs out there to choose from. Any product you can think of has an affiliate program.

There are affiliate programs for things like books, cars, computer games, computer programs, porn sites, prescription drugs and ebooks. You name it and there is an affiliate program for it.

You can even join an affiliate program for selling property on the moon!! So how do you go about choosing the right programs? Well, there are many factors to looks at.

Here are five characteristics to look at when choosing an affiliate program:

1) High payouts - Would you rather be paid $1 or $20 every time you make a sale? $20 of course!! I like to work with affiliate programs that payout anywhere from $15 - $60 for each customer conversion. Don't get me wrong, there is a time and place for $1 payout programs and as entrepreneurs you should always keep your eyes open for opportunities, but from personal experience, the higher payouts seem to work best for people just starting out.

2) Effective product sales page - Your success as an affiliate depends highly on how effective the sales website is for the affiliate program you belong to. I'm not talking about your personal website; I'm talking about the owners of the affiliate program themselves, the site you are sending people to. If you are sending people to a website that is constructed very poorly and has a low sales conversion rate, you are not going to make any profits. But if you send people from your website to a website that captures the customers attention and effectively conveniences them to buy the product, you will make much more profits per customer.

3) The amount of competition - If there is too much competition in the affiliate program that you join, it will be harder for you to make money. When there are too many affiliates vying for the same customers, the profits that can be made by one individual become less and less. I would say that it's a good idea for beginners to stir away from the really competitive products. You will have a much better time with programs that have relatively low competition. Don't get me wrong, you can compete in any affiliate program but you need to learn certain skills, to turn a profit.

4) Payout Dates - Be sure to check how often the affiliate program will be sending you pay checks. You don't want to be stuck waiting 3-6 months to be paid. I usually like to stick with affiliate programs that pay every 1-2 weeks. Sometimes I will join affiliate programs that pay every month, but anything over one month is just too long to wait for. You have to think about your advertising budget. If you only have enough money to advertise for two weeks, and you get paid every three months, you are going to run out of money to advertise with. The quicker you get paid, the quicker you can take that money and reinvest it to increase your profits.

5) Payout Minimums - Almost every affiliate program has a minimum payout amount. Most of the time affiliates programs will require that you earn $25 - $100 before they will ever send you a check. This is fine, because you should be able to hit this amount easily. If it's more than $300 then I would stir away from that program. Sometimes you will join an affiliate program and make some money, but you may decide for some reason that that particular program is not working out. If you did not hit the minimum payout then you will never be paid. Another reason to pick a low minimum payout is that it may take you awhile to hit the minimum, so the lower the payout level the quicker you will get your money.

6) In Demand Products - This is a very important thing to look for in affiliate programs. Choose something that people really want and find a way to give it to them. For example: millions of people in the U.S. feel they are overweight, and want to lose that weight. It's your job to find an affiliate program that fits these peoples needs. Sell them diet pills or workout tapes, even workout equipment. Here's another example: Many people want to find someone to date. Well you've seen all the online dating services. Guess what, most of those have affiliate programs that you can join. Direct a person who wants a date to that dating service website and you will make a nice commission.

You now know what to look for in an affiliate product, so now we need to go find an affiliate product to market.

This is were ClickBank comes into play.

ClickBank is actually an Internet "affiliate network". Affiliate networks combine thousands of Internet affiliate programs into one simple website.

So instead of signing up for numerous affiliate programs, which can be a hassle, you only need to sign up once with a site like ClickBank. This will allow you to have access to over 11,000+ products and services to market.

ClickBank is actually a special type of affiliate network in that it only deals with digital products. When a customer buys through ClickBank, they receive their purchase instantly over the Internet.

So what makes ClickBank so special? Several reasons:

- ClickBank is very easy for beginners to learn

- ClickBank offers many high quality affiliate products to market

- ClickBank offers extremely high commissions (up to 75%)

- Many people are already members of ClickBank

- Getting affiliate links is very simple and fast

- Stats are in real time and can be checked 24/7

- ClickBank sends commission checks every two weeks

Email Marketing - How to Build Relationship With Your Subscribers

By Sean Mize

Email marketing is one of the most powerful mediums of internet marketing today, and yet it is misunderstood, misused, and it generally produces only a fraction of the profit that it could produce.

Why? Because you treat your subscribers like they are numbers on an email list. When was the last time you personally responded when someone emailed you a question? I mean a real answer, where you told them everything they needed to know without trying to sell them a book on the topic?

You must first of all care about your subscribers, because if you dont, they dont buy as much from you. Sure, maybe you only care because they are going to buy from you, but you must care, or they will not.

So how do you show you care?

1) Send them free, no strings attached gifts from time to time. Not something they have to jump through hoops to get, just a genuine gift.

2) Ask your subscribers questions and then answer their questions. Every single one of them. If the question has general application, answer it mailbag style - answer the question for everyone on your list. If it is pretty targeted and you dont think it would hold much interest for everyone else on the list, respond back personally. You think it is time consuming? It is. But it is gratifying when you answer a question for someone and the next day they start buying your products.

3) Ask your subscribers what they want to learn more about, and then provide it for them. In this case, you can create a product that will meet their needs and sell it to them.

4) Stop trying to sell in your emails. Teach in your emails. Give them content in your emails, then direct them to a link. Let the sales page do the selling.
